Job/Position Summary
The Quality Technician will be proactive and detail-oriented. This role is essential for ensuring that our data management practices align with contractual deliverables, regulatory standards, and internal policies. The ideal candidate will be detailed oriented and have a strong acumen for data governance, compliance, quality industry practices, and regulatory requirements related to data management.
Primary Responsibilities
- Track and ensure customer contractual deliverables (CDRLs) are met and submitted on time.
- Ability to follow ISO 9001 standards to meet customer requirements.
- Review program requirements and related documentation to identify CDRL needs and ensure all data deliverables align and are met.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and project management, to gather and validate necessary data for CDRL submissions.
- Ensure that all CDRL documents meet quality standards and are submitted on time; conduct reviews and provide feedback for improvement.
- Maintain comprehensive records of CDRL submissions, approvals, and revisions; generate reports to track compliance and identify potential issues.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance CDRL management practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
- Assist Process Engineering with daily disposition and engineering work as needed.
- Perform additional functions and other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- This position will require lawful access to ITAR/EAR and CUI controlled information and employees in these roles will need to meet those requirements. Requirements may include US Citizenship, US Permanent Resident, or ability to meet contract-specific licensure requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience with government contracting and compliance requirements as well as DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement) requirement is preferred.
- Must be detail-oriented to accurately prepare reports and documents in support of company objectives.
- Must have good leadership skills to ensure project costs and schedules are maintained.
Physical/Working Requirements
- Within a manufacturing environment, must be able to follow rules and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as applicable.
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing; ability to lift and move 25 lbs.
- Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
